It's amazing how much I actually retain when I say something over and over again. I recognize how the brain activates memory receptors and creates a path in the long-term memory bank. Hum. Anyway, I'm referring to the two speeches that Making It Count has. Of the 30 pages, I've only memorzied 2!

Gave Sonic Employees A Laugh

So I've had a really long afternoon of shooting and decided to reward myself with a shake. So while I'm driving, I look over, and discover that I have a coupon for a buy one get one free milkshake. I pick up the sheet of coupons and see that they have an entire meal which includes a milkshake for $5.99. I get up to the drive-thru ordering thingy and place my order, "I'd like your $5.99 coupon special with the Steak and Shake Dinner Meal," the lady says, I'm sorry, can you repeat that, "Yes, I'd like the $5.99 coupon special with the Steak and Shake Dinner Meal, the one that comes with the milkshake." Ah ma'am, can you come to the window please so I can see the coupon? I drive to the window, and all the employees are looking at me, the lady gets my coupon and says, "this says Steak-N-Shake," I said, "I know, that's what I said, a steak-n-shake meal." Ma'am this is Sonic!

Crap, I can't believe this! I'm so sorry, I had a long day, and all I want is a milkshake, can I have one of yours?

My Letter To McDonald's

I understand your policy pertaining to unsolicited ideas, however, I do believe this would fall under the "How Are We Doin’" section. My children are three and five years old and are constantly loving to be surrounded by new things and new ideas. As their mother, I encourage their educational growth. When I take them to McDonald's, I am disappointed when I get their Happy Meals only to see ANOTHER toy! I find myself going to Sonic SPECIFICALLY for children's meals because they encourage learning by giving educational materials like, sign language flash cards, cd's that teach the listener to speak different languages, children’s books, etc. EVEN THOUGH McDonald's food tastes BETTER, Sonic supercedes in what parents like their children to be rewarded with! I, as many mothers and certainly fathers, would LOVE to see McDonald's step up to the plate to promote education and brain stimulation, just as you already are promoting physical activity. PLEASE find more challenging and educational ways to promote McDonald's movie sponsors better than just giving ANOTHER TOY.

Thank you,
Florida Mom with Enough Toys!

Out Of Town!

I don't care for going out of town, especially when I have to travel 2.5 hours by car to get to an airport!!! I LOVE the Home-Life. As long as I have the Internet to communicate, I'm fine!

I went to the store before I left and bought both my babies some Skittles in a heart case and wrote them love notes on pink paper and cut it out like the shape of a heart. I taped the note to the candy and placed them on both their pillows, so they'll see it when they get home. Awww. I'm going to miss my little rug-rats.

40 year old virgin

I saw this movie for the first time on On Demand, and could not believe how funny it was. It's a must-see! I know when the actors were making this movie, they were thinking, "what the heck?!"

Mom Reads Online Journal

Is anyone else interested in reading my journal other than my mother? Just curious if anyone else finds my web-journal's existence interesting enough to actually read? Ha. I don't even read back on the things I write!

So here's today's entry:

Mom reads my online diary occasionally. Same goes for tonight. I understand that everything I write are my personal thoughts, and my mom, my friends, and everyone else should understand that too. I am who I am, fortunately for them, I am very transparent. I don't play games, I don't talk around subjects, I'm not a gossiper, I don't like to talk TOO much...but I do try to write my feelings out to de-stress myself. And just like my header says, "I AM ONLY HUMAN!" I'm not a superhero, I'm not a saint, and I'm not a world-peacekeeper. But what I AM, is a wife and a mother FIRST! Anything outside of God and my immediate family has no control over who I am.

If you would like entry into my journal (a-hem) present yourself to me, and I'll write.

God's given me a gift, and everyday you're a present.

He's not going to reveal it to them yet, because I need to be ready, and so do you.

“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,” (Titus 2:11-12)

It's January 1st, 2007!

I don't do the zodiac thing, but I was surfing and came across this which I thought was interesting. I copied and pasted this and noticed they were some misspellings, which I don't care to correct at the moment. But you still get the idea.

Studies on the SCORPIAN:

Mental Tendencies
Scorpio sign is also called KETA in Sanskrit means a REPTILE representing poisonous Scorpion. Two types of ladies are found under this ascendant, the higher grade who have control over their senses, others are of lower type, who will be jealous of others and rude strong willed, tyrannical but irreconciable, indefeatable and seekers of sensuous pleasures.

Personality
Be on guard with all Scorpions. I do not mean they are wicked. They are just not soft or naive. You can not see their emotions which are not reflected on their face. The Scorpio lady has a deep, mysterious beauty. She is magnetic, proud and totally confident. She has one secret but regrets that shw was not born man. She wants less will restrictions but more opportunity. Can not sit idle. Scorpios should not be insulted as it is not healthy for them to bear it.
Scorpio girls have fertile imagination, they are at their best talents in case of obstacles and hindrances. Reserved, tenacious, determined and quick witted. Alert, forceful and positive. Often they are blunt, fond of contest and travel. They want compliments and appreciations from all but can not withstand any criticism, so one should be careful. Such ladies are very hard, suddenly loose temper but are really true, They loudly resort without any consideration for the position of the husband which should be avoided by them.

Health and Diseases
Scorpio denotes generative organs, pelvic bones, bladder, enlargements of prostrate glands and seminal vesciles etc. Jupiter Mars in Scorpio causes the diseases of above body parts. Saturn causes stone in bladder. Brain affliction, insominina, neurolgia, coma, trance and sonambulism are the diseases to be taken care of.

Finance and Fortune
You are lucky for wealth. Gian through speculation, blessed with money ; vehicle, good position in office or business, house, garden etc. You are extravagant. Your income will be substantial as you know how to earn money. You Scorpion ladies are unpredictable abour your homely budgett. You can save a pinch of penny until it bends double and magnificently extravagant. Any way you will enjoy money. Have a weakness for prestige and will not let any body compromise that. You will be satisfied if you husband chooses a smaller income profession provided it insures that you are own boss with a poternial to rise to become a man of influence. You lide power and will sacrifice mush for that.

Romance And Marriage
You Scorpions are intense, dynamic, energetic in romance and love but of complex to moods. Unless Scorpio have sympathy, good understanding and steady affection and try to cultivate she can not have a smooth life with opposite sex. She can not tolerate any criticism. They are just, honest, sincere and generally lucky. But when 2, 7 and 11 th houses in horoscope are occupied with malefics, difficulties arise in married life.

Ideal Match
You are fit to marry Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer born persons. Avoid Virgo, Capricorn and Taurus.

Domestic Environments
You Scorpio women love your home which shine with cleanliness, taste and comforts. Meals are served on time, and things are generally controlled, otherwise you feel unhappy. You are unreasonably suspicious. You need the security of home roots, you will move if necessary, to your career. You must check frequently your sharp tongue and tone down your brutal analysis to maintain peace at home.
Your nature of bossing over others persists at home which may upset the domestic balance. So you must avoid it.

Traits to be Corrected
You should not be sarcastic, over critical, controlyour temper, try to avoid secret enmity, and be not selfish. Be patient and watch for the results of your efforts. Lower side of Scorpion will make you anarchist, extremists, social fire brand, destruction, dangerous Do not be revengeful.

The Scorpian woman injects poison and Love at the same time. Be careful not to get the Scorpian upset, or else she will become vengeful!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
