Who is Benji Harris?

Out of the blue, I feel the HS saying Benji Harris. I guess I'll pray for this person.

I met with one of the schools today to propose to take their kids' pictures and it's a go. Thank you Lord.

808
I just remembered...it had to have been Monday or Tuesday night when I had a dream about the numbers 8-0-8. I woke up thinking, "humm, that's weird, do I need to play the Lotto?" But then I thought, "No, I seriously doubt that God would give me Lotto numbers! LOL." So I kinda let that go. Then today, right before my meeting with one of my pastors, I was leaving the house and remembered that I needed to pay the light bill before I left. Well I went outside to get the meter reading and the number was 3808. So I thought again, "humm, there's that 8-0-8" and left it at that.

I went to my meeting, everything went great...I talked to him about not only the pictures, but a desire that I have to consult churches with innovative ways to improve and market themselves, blah, blah, blah.

So anyway I was thinking, maybe that was my sign to let me know that I'm on the right path and the Lord was working things out for me today.

Went to the Kem concert tonight
It was good. I'm just not a concert person. He's more like the intimate setting type for my performance taste. Now Usher and Kanye West (last year) can put on a fabulous show...I just don't care for the screaming women!

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

God veils His glory to those who don’t fear Him

The Word for today is "fear the Lord." The Lord is not going to reveal Himself to those who don't fear Him.

My attorney called and said that my First Office Action came in from the patent office and nothing bad really stands out, and we need to meet. Humm, guess I should take a check with me, huh? Any donations?

What is First Office Action? According to BitLaw.com:

The first formal correspondence from the Patent and Trademark Office concerning the patentability of the invention is in the form of a first "office action," which is normally mailed to the applicant's patent attorney. This is generally received about nine months after the application was filed, although the actual time can vary considerably depending upon the technical field of the invention.

The first office action will usually contain reasons for any adverse action, objection, or additional requirements. If the invention is not considered patentable subject matter, the claims will be rejected. If a patent is rejected, it is generally because the claims are not new in comparison to the prior art, or because the improvements made over the prior art are obvious. It is not uncommon for some or all of the claims to be rejected on the first action by the examiner; relatively few applications are allowed as filed.

If two or more inventions are claimed in a single application, and are regarded by the Office to be of such a nature that a single patent should not be issued for both of them, the applicant will be required to limit the application to one of the inventions. The other invention may be made the subject of a separate application which, if filed while the first application is still pending, will be entitled to the benefit of the filing date of the first application. This separate application is referred to as a "divisional application."

My Baby Boy Went To The Potty!

Zach went to the potty all by himself tonight!!!! I am just too elated!

“The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” (Romans 13:9-10)

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4:11-12)

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

Back From Mexico!

We had a great time! This was a much needed vacation. We went to visit the Mayan Ruins of Tulum...I remember seeing a special of them on the Discover channel.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35,37)

Look what I found in 1 Samuel 14

Look what I found:

Okay, I was reading this today, and it reminded me of the time that I asked God for a rose if He wanted me to go back to school.

This story is in 1 Samuel 14, starting in verse eight.

Jonathan said, "Come, then; we will cross over toward the men and let them see us. If they say to us, 'Wait there until we come to you,' we will stay where we are and not go up to them. But if they say, 'Come up to us,' we will climb up, because that will be our sign that the LORD has given them into our hands."

So both of them showed themselves to the Philistine outpost. "Look!" said the Philistines. "The Hebrews are crawling out of the holes they were hiding in." The men of the outpost shouted to Jonathan and his armor-bearer, "Come up to us and we'll teach you a lesson." So Jonathan said to his armor-bearer, "Climb up after me; the LORD has given them into the hand of Israel."

Okay, so since then, I've been burning to ask another question, except this time I gave a word for Him to use someone to tell me. I told God that if He wanted me to be somewhere, then someone has to tell me this word directly by Sunday afternoon. I'll keep you posted.

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

I'll let Pastor tell what happened last night

FROM THE DESK OF DR. RICHARD LEDFORD

God is on the move! Last night in our midweek service the Holy Ghost broke out in a powerful way. Praise and worship ushered in a tangible presence that was felt by all in the house. I tried three times to get everyone seated to begin my message and spontaneous praise broke out each time, after the third time men and women began to flood the altar area laying their offering before God. This was not encouraged but was a sovereign move of the Spirit of God.

After this demonstration of obedience I shared with the congregation that we had just paid off all of the bills for one of the single parents in our church. This single mother is the parent of three wonderful children and has been faithful to God through every trial she has weathered. She has the opportunity to have a home built for her by Habitat for Humanity but needed to get rid of all debt to qualify. As a church we stood with her and took care of this. God then directed me to give to a family in our church an almost brand new van that had been given to us. I asked for how many families we had that were tithers, faithful to God, and have more than four children, there were several. I moved that up to five and then six children and one couple stood out, I brought them onto the platform and surprised them by giving them this vehicle. The mother shared with us that she has been transporting the family around in a small Mazda and that this was truly a miracle for their family.

This is your time for a sudden miracle from God. I feel so strongly in my spirit that we are in a season of harvest in every area of our lives. What God did for those men and women last night is just a testimony that God is ready to do it for you. I encourage you to start believing right now that whatever you have been waiting on God to do that you begin to thank him today, in advance, for your breakthrough. God directed me in January to each month as a church stand with one single parent and pay off all of their debt. This is to encourage every family in our church that it is time for God to set us free from the inability to obey him without any restraints. It is harvest time and we cannot be burdened down during this season.

Sunday we saw almost 200 men and women get saved. I can hardly wait to see what God is going to do this week. I am writing you today to strengthen your faith that God has not forgotten about you. Know that what God has done for one he is capable of doing for all, get ready for your harvest. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday. Be blessed.

Dr. Richard N. Ledford II

“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.” (2 Thessalonians 1:3)

This Is Harvest Time!

I was in total awe to have been invited to spend the afternoon on Tuesday with Rev. Oral Roberts in his living room in Southern California. Without a doubt it was one of the most life changing meetings I have ever had the opportunity to participate in. Oral Roberts is a giant in the kingdom of God and a man to be tremendously admired for his commitment to his family, and the vision of God for over 65 years of his life. The words he spoke were a prophetic message for the church today.

Rev. Roberts shared with a small group of us that God spoke clearly to him that it is time for the harvest to come to the church. The full harvest, everything that God has promised to do before the return of Jesus Christ is available to the church right now. Brother Oral opened the Word to Luke 10:1, 2 and began to share with us the revelation God gave to him just recently. To break it down very simply it adds up to this:

1. God is going to pour out a great blessing on the church both spiritually and financially.
2. We must use the increase financially to get ourselves out of debt. This will allow us to be ready to do what God will ask of us without hesitation.
3. The local church is going to be the focus of God during these last years until Jesus returns.
4. It is going to require more finances for the local church to expand to reach our local areas than ever before. These finances will be available due to the blessing of God on our congregational members.
5. Proclaim the Lord of the Harvest, not just the Lord of the seed. God is ready to give us exceedingly, abundantly; above all we can ask or think to reach the world with the good news.
6. Miracles are about to explode into the house of God. Healing and deliverance will become the normal in churches that will welcome the move of God.

There is much more that was imparted to me for our personal ministry here and I will share that as God allows me to. I am so very excited about the fact that it is time for the harvest to come to the church. I encourage you today to pray to the Lord of the harvest that every harvest you have outstanding will spring up in your life today! Let's declare harvest time at CHC. Be blessed!
