We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.-M. Williamson

“ Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.” (1 Peter 3:8)

I had a pretty good today today, given the fact that I'm a little sick. One of my nostrils is stopped up and the other one is running, go figure.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Wow! I've been gone for a minute...
So I went to visit a church tonight that the Lord told me to go visit. I've been there a few other times before (they were all sporadic visits). So anyway, last week, the Lord told me to make sure I go tonight. So I went, and right toward the end of service the Bishop calls me up and tells me a whole mouth full of stuff that I can't even remember...but I must say that it was confirmation. I can tell you that he said "the Lord has set me apart." That right there was something that I heard the Lord say to me when I was in Los Angeles last time. I was on the set of I Love New York 2, just waiting around with the others and two things were going through my mind: "I have set you apart," and the song, "How Great is Our God."
So when the Bishop said that tonight, it was confirmation. He said that God gives me dreams and visions, and that I am covered, the Lord was protecting me for Himself, and He is going to use me MIGHTILY! He stressed that part. He continued that the Lord was going to use me to speak to His people, I have been asking God for the right thing to do, the right thing to say, the right way to act, seeking and praying and desiring for Him to use me and He will. I need to be prepared for the next six to eight months for the Lord to use me. Then the Bishop asked another prophet to come speak the words that the Lord has given her, and she stood in front of me and said that my heart is very soft, like cotton, that the Lord needed to use that so I can have a heart for His people. That when they come to me, I will have know what they are feeling and going through because their feelings will be mirrored on me. I was going to speak the word of the Lord, she said that she sees me on my knees crying before God, I will be like Jeremiah, the weeping prophet. Okay, let's stop right there...it's funny she said that because I told God last year that when I feel the prophetic anointing, I feel like vomiting, and I was going to be Thais the vomiting Prophet...ha, ha. Okay, that's not all that funny. Anyway, she goes on to say that I will need training, the Lord wants me to get training so that I will know what to do when it happens.
“What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.” (2 Timothy 1:13-14)

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:14,20)

Bridge to Terabithia
Tonight was the first time that I saw Bridge to Terabithia and I must say...I thought it had a lot of potential. The part that I really had a problem with was that the little girl dies in the movie. What's up with that?
“But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

“Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.” (John 1:12-13)

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” (Hebrews 12:1)
